December 1st is Rosa Park’s Day and with all the turmoil that we have today, it is important to celebrate this holiday. We have so many shootings and deaths of young men and women. Rosa Park did not do what she did to make history, she only did what she felt was right. Everyone should be equal but we have so much hate from both sides that innocence is being sacrificed. Rosa Park never wanted anyone to use violence but to protest in peace. So let us remember and honor her memory and protest in peace.
So take the time and sit down with our children and talk to them about freedom and freedom only works if everyone is free and everyone has the same rights as everyone else.
Here are some cute crafts that you can do with the kids. Recycle those egg cartons and use the lids to make a bus.
So I leave with some humor.
