What is in a name?
This time we are not naming ourselves but naming our vehicles. October 2nd is Name your Car Day. Our car name is Zoe, mom named her after a tv character. Kody named his car Billie Green. So, have you named your car? If not, then it is a good time to think about naming your car.
Her are two famous cars that you may recognize.
Sadly the Cranberry only lasted a few minutes, but she will always be remembered for her sacrifice. RIP Cranberry.
As we never know how long a car will last, maybe it is time to make sure your car has a name. You can do this on your own or ask for help. Everybody enjoys giving their opinions on social media, so ask away.
To put in my 2 cents worth, Hermes is a good name, he is the God of transportation, just saying. Bertha was my dad’s truck and I had a friend who named their car Alfred, after Batman’s trusty butler. Jeeves was a popular name, so was Christine. There are lots more suggestions out there. Now the hard part is deciding on one name.

Days of Music in October
October 1st is International Music Day and the 2nd Saturday of October is Universal Music Day. Addie and Makenzie will have me put on the music so we can dance. I have a variety of songs stored on the computer. I have a little rock and roll, a little country and lots of show tunes.
So we are gong to celebrate with dancing and making some of our own music. I have a keyboard and some recorders to make some noise. If we don’t have enough noise then we can make some more. Here are some fun ideas to make your own homemade instruments.
Just to note if you are making the wind pipe you need to tape it several times to hold it together. Makenzie had hers apart in less then one minute. Addie’s wind pipe lasted 2 days. On the bright side, it kept them entertained for a couple of hours. I have not figured out how to do the bottle cap clickers yet, but we will have fun experimenting.
You can also enjoy these days by going on YouTube and check out all the different types of music. Be careful because a simple tune can bring back memories and they may take over the conversation. In just writing this, I have already thought about some songs and good memories.
So enjoy and have some fun and make some more good memories.

We all scream for ICE CREAM
Thursday, September 22 is a fun full day. We have the official first day of Fall. Yup the Fall Equinox and Mabon is this Thursday and so is National Ice Cream Cone Day.
So I say let us all scream for ICE CREAM and start off Fall with a nice treat. Note that many places may have 1/2 or free cones for kids. You may want to check with you local area.
Have a great First Day of Fall and enjoy some family fun with Ice Cream.

Why vote?
People say that they don’t vote because their vote does not count. Well then get off your fat, lazy but and go out and make sure your vote counts. Get involved and help others get involved. We are in the 21st century and we still have to fight to vote. Men and women died giving us the right to vote. They not only died but tortured and suffered so much to make sure we had the right to vote. Don’t spit on their graves, take up where they left off.
Make your voice heard. We are Americans and it is our duty and right to vote. Don’t let anyone tell you other wise. Shout it on the roof tops and don’t let those so called “patriots” stop you. They are not patriots if they don’t let you vote. We are Americans and we will fight to vote.
I hear a lot of people complaining about the Government problems and corruption, that is why we need to take a stand and get involved. Our Founding Fathers did not sit around for someone else to do something, no, they took action. We have a corrupt media service but if we stand up and scream, others will hear our voices. And it all starts with…. a Vote.
No matter who you vote for, stand up and let your vote count. This country was created by the people and it is time we got the useless politicians out of office. As we have a corrupt media service you will need to do lots of research to get the real facts. You need to also stop and look at the other side and listen to them. They have the same rights as you. It is up to us to make laws that will be good for ALL Americans, and not just one group. We need to be fair and take care of each other. We need to make sure everyone has the same rights as everyone else.
The core of all religions are all the same; “Do onto others as you would have them do onto you.” If we learn to share and compromise, we all can live together. But if you want a future that you can be proud of…. vote. It all starts with one vote.
May whatever God or Goddess you worship bless you and all. May all mankind bless you.
